Senior UX Designer @ OrderGroove


The OrderGroove Product and UX team is seeking an experienced Designer to join the ranks in our Manhattan HQ and lead the charge to define the future of subscriber-to-business relationships and subscription commerce. The UX role will tackle all aspects of the design process from design research to the delivery of internal and client-facing UX documentation. This individual will join a small project team tasked with enhancing and innovating on the OrderGroove subscription platform and work directly with internal stakeholders and clients.

This is a unique opportunity to own the design for experiences that touch the large and rapidly growing number of subscription E-commerce consumers and the many businesses building loyalty with them.


  • Develop concepts from idea to design using a strong toolkit of wireframes, personas, sketches and prototypes.
  • Create designs that help OrderGroove innovate it’s subscription platform.
  • Iterate on existing products and solutions to improve existing client programs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of user workflow and task modeling, conceptual design, user testing and best practices on the design of desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate designs and the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Communicate directly with internal stakeholders and represent OrderGroove Product and UX in client relationships.


  • 5+ years of UX design experience.

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, or any design-related field.
  • Familiar with user experience design methodologies including Agile UX
  • Highly proficient in design and design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Invision and Omnigraffle.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills.
  • Some demonstration of visual design skill is a bonus!


You will be expected to share a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to work through problems, handle design tasks, deliver UX assets, and communicate the reasoning behind your design decisions to others. OrderGroove also expects candidates to participate in a lightweight design exercise.
