QA/ Test Engineer: Javascript @ Paintzen
Paintzen.com is looking for a programmer to join its engineering team on the journey towards Javascript enlightenment. We are a small, focused, and passionate team, obsessed with covering walls with beautiful paint and covering code with beautiful tests. We are building a sustainable, reusable, and scalable codebase in an agile environment with continuous deployment. We believe in doing it right the first time and building for the long-term. We want you to be a self starter, eager learner and promising engineer, who will grow with our company.
Paintzen is a platform for getting any home and office painted – providing customers with instant quotes and matching them to experienced paint crews. We manage all the logistics of getting the job done for both the customer and the painter, resulting in a stress free experience for both.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of our quality assurance and testing systems
- Continuously look for ways to improve Paintzen.com
- Write clean, modular, x-browser, debuggable JavaScript code
- Write lots and lots of tests!
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
- Experience with MongoDB, ExpressJS and NodeJS
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS
- Fundamental understanding of data structures, algorithms and problem solving.
- Daily meditation a plus.
